From Toronto to Texas: Meet Our Newest Relay Setting Engineer

We are excited to welcome Yash Bale to the SynchroGrid team as our newest Relay Setting Engineer I! Yash brings a strong foundation in electrical systems, excellent communication skills, and a deep interest in protection and control, making him a valuable addition to our growing engineering team.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Yash recently completed his master’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems from George Washington University in May 2025. His passion for electrical engineering, especially in the power industry, stems from the rapid global expansion of power grids to support modern infrastructure needs such as AI, data centers, and increasing energy demands.
Yash is particularly passionate about protection and control schemes, as well as the equipment that makes these systems possible such as relays, breakers, and switchgear. He previously worked at Eaton Electrical as a sales engineer, where he collaborated with customers and consultants to provide technical support and quotations for a range of electrical distribution equipment, including motor control centers, panelboards, switchboards, and more.
His engineering strengths lie in mechanical design and layouts, interpreting and analyzing single-line diagrams, and effectively communicating with both clients and internal teams. Yash was drawn to SynchroGrid for its focus on technical skill development through hands-on, meaningful project work within a collaborative consulting environment.
Yash’s goals at SynchroGrid include developing his technical expertise in protection and control and gaining exposure to a wide range of projects with direct client involvement. He also plans to pursue his Professional Engineering license in Ontario, followed by obtaining his PE in Texas.
Outside of work, Yash enjoys working out at the gym, playing and watching soccer, road cycling, and learning about a variety of random topics.
Please join us in giving Yash a warm welcome to the SynchroGrid family!
