Diversifying our Design Team

We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan Harrington to the SynchroGrid team as our newest Design Engineer I! With a passion for innovation and a drive to understand the big picture, Jordan brings both curiosity and a collaborative mindset to our growing engineering department. 

Originally from Katy, TX, Jordan studied electrical engineering at Texas A&M University. His interest in the field was sparked by his father, who studied EE and applied it during his time in the Navy. This early inspiration, combined with a recognition of the industry’s rapid growth and the global shift toward electric power, motivated Jordan to pursue a career that’s both forward-looking and deeply impactful. 

While studying, Jordan found himself drawn to the versatility of electrical engineering—from power systems to electronics to emerging technologies. This wide range of opportunities keeps him excited about what’s next in the field. 

Before joining SynchroGrid, Jordan worked as an instrumentation and controls engineer at Valero in Texas City, where he developed a strong skillset in process efficiency and pattern recognition. These strengths continue to serve him well as he tackles complex design challenges and looks for ways to improve systems from the ground up. 

Jordan was drawn to SynchroGrid’s people-first culture and its unique blend of engineering and consulting, which he saw as an ideal environment for professional growth. His goal is to become well-rounded enough to explore multiple engineering disciplines within the company and contribute meaningfully wherever he’s needed. 

When he’s not working, Jordan stays active and connected through sports, games, and his church community. He loves competing in pickleball, golf, and ping-pong, is a fan of board games, and finds purpose and joy in leading worship at his church.
