Driven by Curiosity, Focused on Growth
We’re excited to welcome Jason Nguyen to the SynchroGrid team as our newest Relay Setting Engineer I! With a curiosity that sparked early in life and a strong desire to make a real-world impact, Jason brings focus, accountability, and a passion for power systems to our growing engineering team.
Originally from Houston, TX, Jason pursued his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Texas A&M University. As someone who always wondered how energy and power systems work, he was naturally drawn to EE for its broad range of opportunities and practical, real-world applications. During his studies, Jason found himself particularly interested in the power sector—drawn to the challenge of making the grid safe and efficient for all.
Jason was inspired by his father, not by direct instruction, but through the example he set: to stay true to oneself, work hard, and be intentional with time and decisions. That mindset has guided Jason into a field where he hopes to contribute meaningfully and grow consistently.
Jason was drawn to SynchroGrid because of the opportunity to learn. He values the diverse set of projects SynchroGrid takes on and saw it as the ideal environment to challenge himself and rapidly grow his skills in power systems. He’s excited to develop into someone teammates can depend on—both technically and professionally.
Among his strengths are consistency, time management, and accountability. Jason holds both himself and others to a high standard and takes pride in being a reliable team member.
He’s currently preparing to take his FE exam by the end of the summer and has his sights set on continuous growth, including future promotions and deeper technical mastery.
When he’s not working, Jason enjoys staying active and adventurous—playing basketball and pickleball, hitting the gym, gaming, and exploring new places with friends and family. He’s always on the lookout for new parks, museums, and cities to experience.
Please join us in giving Jason a warm welcome to the SynchroGrid family!
