SynchroGrid Hires VP of Engineering for Our Newly Opened Denver Office

SynchroGrid is excited to welcome Steve Yanosik to our team as the Vice President of Engineering in our newly established Denver office!

Steve is an electrical engineer with over 14 years of substation design experience with a focus in system protection. He has a wealth of knowledge in protection and control design, relay settings, relay logic, SCADA programming, and IEC-61850. He also has experience performing wide area coordination studies and has worked in solving many complex relay setting applications for a variety of customers. His additional technical areas of expertise include detailed design and development of substation arrangements, control house panel layout and design, substation schematic modification, and QA checks.

Steve most recently worked for Black & Veatch for nine years, where he was employed as a Protection Design Engineering Manager. He also previously worked for American Electric Power in Ohio and Consumers Energy in Michigan. Steve graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2006. He is a Professional Engineer with licenses in Texas, Ohio, New Mexico, Arizona, Michigan, and Wyoming.

Steve will be heading up SynchroGrid’s current projects with Farmington Electric and Basin Electric while he works to build the Denver office. Please join us in welcoming Steve to the team!
