SynchroGrid Hires Principal Engineer for Denver Office

SynchroGrid is pleased to welcome Jon Snellgrove to our Denver team as a Principal Engineer. His 11 years of experience with transmission system protection, line protection, area coordination studies, mis-operation analysis, and short circuit system modeling make him a great addition to SynchroGrid.

Jon attended Oklahoma State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. It is also where he discovered an interest in the life and works of Nikola Tesla, which ultimately solidified his decision to focus on electrical engineering and power specifically.

Jon looks forward to assisting with wide area coordination studies to improve the reliability of the electric grid. He hopes to sharpen his skillset and round out his knowledge base with exposure to other companies’ standards and practices in other RTOs outside of the ERCOT region.

SynchroGrid is excited to add Jon to the team with his attention to detail, strive for excellence, and drive towards producing results. Jon’s work ethic and eagerness to continue to learn coincides with SynchroGrid’s mission and values.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, playing musical instruments (guitar, bass, drums, piano), recording music, and tinkering with electronics.
