SynchroGrid Hires Relay Setting Engineer II

SynchroGrid is excited to announce that Fabian Yepo has joined our College Station office as a Relay Setting Engineer II. His experience in protection and control, with favoritism towards system protection, has already proven to be a great asset to our relay settings engineering team.

An interest in electricity and skills in math ultimately led Fabian to this profession. Fabian is a proud Aggie who received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and he is currently pursuing his M.S. in Electrical Engineering at New Mexico State University. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Fabian found his niche in system protection.

Fabian made it clear that he is driven to become a subject matter expert in system protection. “Not only do I want to assist my colleagues, but I also want to make a name for myself such that SynchroGrid gets contracted in large part due to my ability to handle the most complex situations in system protection.”

SynchroGrid is thrilled to have such a dedicated and eager new addition to the team! Fabian strives to know a subject or idea fully in order to satisfy his curiosity and do the best work possible. His work ethic and eagerness to learn coincide with SynchroGrid’s mission and values.

Outside of his passion for engineering, Fabian’s favorite hobby is swing dancing, and he also enjoys playing the piano. Apart from that, he likes to research and learn more about Catholic apologetics, Austrian Economics, finance, history, cooking, and politics.
