Innovation, Collaboration, and Automation: WPRC 2025 Recap

SynchroGrid was proud to showcase the latest advancements in power system protection at the 2025 Western Protective Relay Conference (WPRC). Central to our presence was our flagship software, SARA (Settings Automation Relay Assistant), designed to transform how utilities approach relay settings.

Led by Lead Software Engineer Luke Hankins, our team delivered comprehensive demonstrations illustrating SARA’s powerful capabilities—from automating complex relay setting calculations to integrating seamlessly with industry tools like CAPE and ASPEN. Attendees saw firsthand how SARA accelerates workflows, enhances accuracy, and reduces the risk of errors—ultimately saving valuable engineering time and resources.

Beyond software, our experts, including Steve Yanosik, Vice President of Engineering, and Technical Business Manager, Marissa Simonelli, engaged in strategic conversations around how SynchroGrid’s consulting services complement SARA’s automation, offering tailored solutions to meet evolving protection challenges.
