From Demos to Dialogue at Georgia Tech Conference

SynchroGrid’s participation in this year’s Georgia Tech Protective Relay Conference highlighted our continued commitment to driving innovation in protection system technology and fostering strong industry relationships. Representing our team were Marissa Simonelli, Technical Business Manager, and Luke Hankins, Lead Software Engineer, who welcomed attendees for hands-on demonstrations of our advanced SARA software—now compatible with both ASPEN and CAPE.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore how SARA simplifies wide area coordination and streamlines relay setting workflows, guided by our engineers’ deep expertise and real-world application insights. These live demos offered a practical look into the future of relay engineering and protection system automation.

Beyond the technical showcases, our booth served as a hub for thoughtful conversations with industry professionals. We were excited to connect with representatives from Santee Cooper, Orlando Utilities Commission, Duke Energy, National Grid, and Southern Company, among others—discussing shared challenges, exchanging ideas, and exploring future collaboration opportunities.

As we reflect on another successful year at Georgia Tech, we’re thankful for the connections made and insights gained. Missed us this time? We look forward to seeing you at future events as we continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in the power industry.
