Addition to Engineering Team

 

We are thrilled to share the exciting news of our engineering team’s continued growth with the addition of Angel Diaz as our newest Lead Engineer. Angel brings with him a wealth of expertise in the field, coupled with attention to detail and an innovative mindset, all of which will undoubtedly enhance our team’s capabilities.

Originally from Honduras, Angel has now spent half of his life in the United States, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and subsequently pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His fascination with electrical engineering stemmed from its mathematical rigor in tackling real-world problems, particularly within the realms of automation and system protection within the power industry.

Driven by his passion for the application of power electronics, Angel has an interest in renewable energy, among other facets of the power industry. His professional background encompasses engineering design, settings development, and commissioning support. His most noteworthy strengths are his adeptness in navigating complex challenges and his ability for fostering effective collaboration among colleagues.

What drew Angel to our team at SynchroGrid was our unwavering commitment to quality through innovation. In his role here, Angel is eager to contribute his expertise while also immersing himself in our culture of continuous learning and advancement. His presence promises to be instrumental in furthering our mission of delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Outside of work, Angel enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it be hiking through scenic trails or playing an exciting game of soccer. Yet, his greatest source of fulfillment comes from spending cherished moments with family, specifically cozy movie nights with his wife and three children.
