Growing the Design Team at SynchroGrid

SynchroGrid is delighted to announce the addition of Jeff Wanner to our esteemed team as a Senior Designer. Jeff brings with him an array of experience in substation design, power generation structural design, CAD design, P&C wiring design, and physical/electrical design, making him an incredible asset to SynchroGrid.

Originally from Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, Jeff studied architectural design and drafting at Berks Technical Institute. Inspired by a family friend who is a civil engineer, Jeff was drawn to the engineering industry from a young age. Witnessing the captivating projects his friend worked on ignited Jeff’s interest and laid the foundation for an exciting career.

Jeff looks forward to contributing to the team, ensuring quality, and maintaining consistency in SynchroGrid’s drawings. His core strengths lie in enhancing CAD productivity and improvements, with a wealth of knowledge across all substation design disciplines. To further broaden his expertise, Jeff hopes to learn more about P&C design and protection philosophies.

SynchroGrid is excited to add Jeff to the team with his meticulous eye and drive for excellence. Jeff’s strong work ethic and eagerness to learn coincides with SynchroGrid’s mission and values. Jeff emphasized, “When making the decision of what my next step on my career path would be, SynchroGrid made it easy – the people and culture really stuck out to me.”

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jeff enjoys watching his kids play sports. Additionally, he loves spending time outdoors, with hiking and fishing being among his favorite hobbies.
