Meet Our Summer Intern

SynchroGrid is excited to highlight Mani, who is joining us this summer as an intern!

Mani is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Texas Tech University. He has a strong interest in power systems and the evolving role of the electrical grid in supporting a more reliable, resilient, and sustainable energy future. He is particularly drawn to the way modern engineering solutions directly impact everyday life by enabling safe and efficient delivery of power.

His interest in Electrical Engineering developed from a strong foundation in mathematics and physics and a curiosity about how complex electrical systems function together in the real world. Over time, this interest grew into a passion for power and energy systems, where continuous innovation and problem-solving play a key role in shaping modern infrastructure.

Mani was drawn to SynchroGrid because of the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the power industry while working on meaningful, real-world grid and protection-related projects. The company’s focus on power systems, protection coordination, and modern grid solutions closely aligns with his academic background and long-term career goals in energy systems engineering.

During his internship, Mani looks forward to building practical industry experience, strengthening his technical skills, and learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment. He brings a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning, and is eager to contribute to impactful engineering work throughout his time at SynchroGrid.

Originally from Nepal, Mani enjoys staying active outside of academics through travel, fitness, spending time with friends and family, networking, and exploring opportunities for personal and professional growth.

We are excited to have Mani on the SynchroGrid team this summer and look forward to seeing his development and contributions throughout his internship.
