Summer Intern Spotlight

We are excited to introduce Jacob Wise, who is joining SynchroGrid as a Summer Intern!
Jacob is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology at Texas A&M University. From an early age, he was fascinated by technology and the innovations that shape the world around us. That curiosity ultimately led him to pursue engineering, where he could better understand and contribute to the technologies that continue to transform modern life.
His interest in the power industry comes from recognizing the vital role electricity plays in supporting today’s technology-driven world. As one of the most essential components of modern infrastructure, the power industry offers opportunities to work on projects that have a meaningful and widespread impact on society. Jacob is excited by the chance to contribute to an industry that helps power homes, businesses, and emerging technologies.
As a College Station native, Jacob was drawn to SynchroGrid by the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a growing company located in his hometown. He was particularly interested in working alongside a talented team of professionals and learning from engineers who are actively solving complex challenges within the power industry. Through this internship, he hopes to develop new skills, gain valuable industry experience, and build relationships with professionals in the field.
Jacob’s strengths include patience, integrity, and perseverance, qualities that will serve him well as he takes on new challenges and continues to grow as an engineer. His passion for learning and dedication to continuous improvement make him a great addition to the SynchroGrid team.
Outside of school, Jacob enjoys reading, playing video games, drawing, and hiking. He also credits his early interest in science documentaries, science fiction, and engineering-focused coursework for inspiring his educational and career path.
We are excited to have Jacob on the team this summer and look forward to supporting his growth while seeing the contributions he makes throughout his internship.
