SynchroGrid Hires Business Development Manager
SynchroGrid is pleased to announce the addition of Dean Horton to our team as Business Development Manager. Dean comes to us with nearly fifty years of utility and consulting experience, specializing in substation and transmission project management as well as business development.
As SynchroGrid’s Business Development Manager, Dean’s goal is to build relationships with our existing clients as well as expand our business to new clients as we strive to offer state-of-the-art services and solutions in system protection. “Business development is simply matching the client needs with the services that SynchroGrid provides,” Dean explains. Ultimately, he strives to build and maintain relationships “founded on trust and integrity.” Dean has been fascinated by watching the utilities industry evolve and grow throughout his career, and when asked what interested him in the power industry, he replied, “I enjoy the consulting side of the business and being able to get out and meet with the clients that make the utilities run.”
“At my former employer, we partnered on several projects with SynchroGrid, and they delivered a quality product and were always on time,” Dean said of SynchroGrid. Even from Dean’s short time at our company, he said he “can see and appreciate the special culture that is in place.” Dean looks forward to helping grow the company as well as mentoring younger employees.
“We are excited to have Dean as part of our team and look forward to working with him as we grow our company,” says Joe Perez, SynchroGrid Founder. “His hard-working attitude and knowledge of the industry make him a perfect fit for our SynchroGrid family.”
Dean lives in Burnet, Texas, and he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sports-related activities in his time away from work.
