Design Team Growth

SynchroGrid proudly welcomes Chris Perry as our Lead Design Engineer! We’re thrilled to have Chris join our team, bringing with him a wealth of experience and industry knowledge. With an eye for problem-solving and a dedication to meeting client needs, Chris is sure to be a valuable addition to our team.

Originally from Katy, TX, Chris has called Texas home his entire life and currently resides in San Antonio. He earned his Electrical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University in 2012. Chris credits his father, an engineer, and his high school teachers for inspiring him to pursue electrical engineering. Their guidance and mentorship led him to pursue his studies at Texas A&M, where he discovered his calling in the field. His love for electrical engineering came from the satisfaction of being able to turn on lights with the flip of a switch and the feeling of limitless possibilities with what we can do with electricity.

Passionate about ensuring the reliability and quality of the power grid, Chris believes in the vital role it plays in our daily lives. He says, “it is often taken for granted by many but if not cared for and protected by people and processes can quickly falter and fail.”  From his 12 years of experience, he has found that the people in the power industry are some of the best to be around and work with. He believes that it is up to us to make sure that we are creating better processes to maintain the quality of our grid.

Chris’s areas of expertise lie in grid reliability, design quality, and finding ways to improve the processes we use to design our grid. As Lead Design Engineer, he aims to deliver innovative solutions that add value for our clients while upholding the highest standards of reliability and quality. He looks forward to meeting new clients and working with new teams to create improved designs.

What attracted Chris to SynchroGrid was our innovative culture, dedicated team, and unwavering commitment to quality. He observes, “many other companies are not trying to improve but simply continue with what has worked before, often even not understanding what made them valuable in the first place.” In contrast, SynchroGrid is dedicated to progress and understanding the core values that make us successful.

We look forward to the contributions Chris will make to our team and the impact he will have on our projects. Please join us in welcoming Chris to the team!
