How we helped
SynchroGrid performed an arc flash analysis on the electrical distribution system for a wind farm. The study was executed to determine the incident energy levels for 230kv, 34.5kv, and 0.69kV equipment, 208 V AC Panels, and 125 DC Panels. Arc flash hazard analysis was performed using ETAP 18.1.1 software.
We made arc flash mitigation recommendations when the incident energy exposures were greater than 40 cal/cm2, as mandated by NFPA 70E.
