SynchroGrid developed relay settings for several new Point of Interconnect (POI) substations across Texas. Our work encompassed comprehensive protection system engineering to ensure these critical connections operate reliably. Specifically, SynchroGrid:
- Developed relay settings for line protection devices, such as SEL-421, SEL-311L, and SEL-311C relays.
- Created breaker failure relay settings using SEL-551.
- Configured SEL-2440 I/O processor settings.
- Performed coordination studies for primary and backup line relays.
- Prepared relay setting reports.
- Performed NERC PRC-027 compliance verification related to relay settings with interconnecting utility.
