SynchroGrid aided clients in conducting engineering calculations for multiple power plants (gas, coal, solar, and wind) throughout the United States, ensuring that their relay settings conform to the standards outlined in PRC-019-2.
The process consisted of the following steps:
- Examined the relay one-line or three-line diagrams and associated relay settings for all stations to guarantee optimal system dependability.
- Conducted calculations and generated visual representations such as graphs to validate that the relay settings conform to the specified standard.
- Recommended alterations to the settings of non-compliant relays to enhance compliance and performance.
- Prepared compliance reports for each relevant standard to ensure readiness for NERC audits.
