How we helped
SynchroGrid evaluated the protection systems at generation facilities and the transmission facilities at the point of interconnection (69 kV) to identify equipment potentially removed from service as a result of operation or misoperation due to harmonics that could result from the benchmark or supplemental GMD events. This analysis was performed to help utility respond to ERCOT’s request of data in its preparation to perform GMD Vulnerability Assessment as part of NERC TPL-007-4 standard.
