How we helped
The software team developed a sub-module for the verification of the ASPEN model used by SynchroGrid’s engineering team to perform projects for a confidential client. The module validates the short circuit model in three different ways:
- Impedance Verification: Compares line constants (e.g. distance, impedance, reactance, conductor type, etc.) between the client’s model and their database.
- Coordination Pairs: Validates the coordination pairs specified in the ASPEN model to ensure Coordination Time Interval (CTI) studies are accurate
- Settings Verification: Verifies relay settings in the ASPEN model compared to the client’s Powerbase data
