How we helped
For a new 138kV and 345kV substation project, SynchroGrid provided the protection settings needed for the different protection systems to keep the substation reliable and secure. Our work included:
- Developed relay settings for line protection devices, such as SEL-421 and SEL-311C relays.
- Created breaker failure relay settings using SEL-551.
- Configured SEL-2440 I/O processor settings.
- Developed relay settings for bus differential protection schemes, including SEL-487B, SEL-551, and SEL-587Z relays.
- Developed autotransformer protection relay settings for devices such as SEL-387, SEL-487B, SEL-451, and SEL-501 relays.
- Performed coordination studies for primary and backup line relays.
- Prepared relay setting reports.
