Back to Build the Future of Software – Welcome Back, Abram!
We are thrilled to welcome back Abram Krislock as he re-joins SynchroGrid as a Senior Software Engineer! With a deep background in software development and physics, Abram brings a unique skill set that will help drive innovation in grid protection technology.
Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Abram now considers Texas his second home. He earned a PhD in High Energy Physics from Texas A&M University, where his research involved running Large Hadron Collider simulations in the search for Dark Matter. His passion for problem-solving and technology led him to a career in software development, where he has spent two decades working in scientific computing and custom software consulting as a full-stack developer and team leader.
Abram was first introduced to the power industry through SynchroGrid, where he was inspired by the company’s commitment to innovation. Now, he’s eager to contribute once again, developing cutting-edge software solutions that simplify grid protection for engineers.
Abram’s background in physics and software sparked his interest in SARA, SynchroGrid’s advanced software solution that integrates engineering expertise with automation to enhance relay coordination. He is excited to leverage his experience to drive technological advancements that improve power system reliability and efficiency.
Outside of work, Abram enjoys spending time with his wife and six children. In his free time, he collects blacksmith puzzles and Rubik’s cube-style puzzles, and enjoys playing guitar, singing, and crocheting.
Please join us in giving Abram a warm welcome back to the SynchroGrid family!
