The Texas A&M Conference for Protective Relay Engineers (CPRE) is fast approaching! This conference is entering its 73rd year and provides cutting-edge information on relay applications and technology while providing a place for industry professionals to converse and exchange ideas.
SynchroGrid is heavily involved in the CPRE and is not only presenting two papers, but we are also teaching a pre-conference seminar and exhibiting at our booth.
March 30 | Rudder Tower 410 | 1-4pm
Join us for our pre-conference seminar to learn more about PRC-027-1 and its implications for utilities! In this free seminar, we will examine the requirements of PRC-027-1 and evaluate available best practices for accomplishing these requirements most effectively. We will then provide practical steps for establishing a utility-wide standardized development process for protection and control drawings and relay settings, empowering utilities to maintain consistency, increase reliability, and reduce errors. We will also introduce an automation tool which streamlines these processes, simplifying standardization and compliance.
SynchroGrid will be presenting some of our latest research at CPRE on April 2nd. Come see our presentations on the following topics:
“Mis-operation of Line Differential Relay in the Presence of Low Rotational Inertia Due to Penetration of Wind Farms”
Presented by Lalit Ghatpande, PE, on April 2 at 10:20am
“Auto-tuned Solution to Wide Area Coordination Issues of Distance and Directional Time Overcurrent Relay Settings”
Presented by Joe Perez, PE, on April 2 at 11:30am
