We are grateful for another successful year at Texas A&M! This year’s conference was filled with activity. We held a pre-conference seminar, presented two papers, hosted a raffle, and talked to many attendees at our booth.

At our pre-conference seminar, we discussed current options for PRC-027-1 and the automation solution that we offer. We were pleased with the turnout and the feedback we received from other engineers. There is a lot of interest in the field as the deadline for PRC-027-1 continues to approach.

At our booth, we were able to catch up with many contacts from previous years and were also able to make some new connections. We provided many demonstrations of our innovative software tool, SARA, and also displayed some of our relay racks and HMI equipment. It is always exciting to meet new professionals as we seek opportunities for our company to grow.

Our paper presentations were on Tuesday and Wednesday. Joe Perez, our Founder, presented a paper on “Simplifying Wide Area Coordination of Directional Time Overcurrent Relays Using Automatic Settings Selection,” and one of our Relay Setting Engineers, Naveen Ganta,  presented on “Analyzing the Impact of Shunt Reactor Switching Operations Based on DFR Monitoring System.”
