Come see us at the 71st annual Conference for Protective Relay Engineers at Texas A&M! Sign up for our class, watch our presentations, or come see us at booth 5 to learn more about how we can help you.
On Monday, March 26, we will be offering a class from 1:00-4:00pm in which we will provide an in-depth, step-by-step tutorial explaining how to develop transmission line relay settings for an SEL-421 relay as well as how to perform the required coordination studies for NERC PRC-027-1 compliance. Use of ASPEN for fault simulations as well as modern advances in automating these processes will also be presented. A free calculation sheet and automated setting philosophy template will be provided.
In addition to our class, we will be presenting two papers at the conference as well.
On Tuesday, March 27, at 4:00pm, we will be in MSC 2400 presenting “An Innovative and Automated Solution for PRC-027.” This presentation discusses our solution to the PRC-027-1 compliance issue through the use of our software, SARA (Settings Automation Relay Assistant).
As seen below, SARA offers user-friendly templates that can be customized to meet your coordination study needs. Find out more in our presentation!
On Wednesday, March 28, at 10:50am, we will be in Rudder Theater presenting “The Mystery of the Phantom Current.” This presentation addresses the mis-operation of a line reactor protection relaying due to an unknown current that tripped the current differential relay while the line reactor breaker was open.
Come see us at booth five to talk about what we can do for your business!
