Our conference room was a busy one at the Georgia Tech Protective Relaying Conference! We enjoyed getting to see so many familiar faces and even meet some new companies this year as well.

The Georgia Tech Conference is always one of our favorites, and this year was no different. We visited with employees from Ameren, Ampirical, Clay Electric, Con Edison, Duke Energy, El Paso Electric, Entergy, Florida Power & Light, Georgia Power, Georgia Transmission, Hydro One, Lake Island Electric, Nashville Electric, National Grid, New Brunswick Power, Oncor, Rochester Gas & Electric, Southern Company, TECO, Xcel Energy, and more. We even had to change our conference room setup from presenting on our normal computer monitors to using a projector so that we could accommodate more attendees during our software demos!

On Tuesday, before the conference began, we participated in the ASPEN OneLiner Application Development Workshop. The workshop had a good turnout, and we enjoyed getting to interact with other engineers during our presentation of our relay setting automation tool, SARA.

SARA is a software tool we developed in-house that integrates with ASPEN or CAPE to automate the relay setting development process. It can also be used to provide a complete solution for PRC-027-1. Read more about the tool here.
